I love how some people always assume all wiccans take thing’s like this seriously and get offended by it.. I fount it funny!! Perhaps it’s because I see it for what it’s supposed to be (and it is not “making fun” of wiccans): it appears to be a joke about how stereotypical some things/people are… I was not offended at all..

Anyone who knows about wicca knows the truth about it.. so it doesn’t really matter that this story doesn’t heed to the “rules” of wicca, because it’s fictional.. It’s not real.. And it amused me very much!

I don’t get offended by ignorant people or stories like these because I find it utterly pointless to waste my time getting angry about something so harmless…

Just to sum up my point: I’m wiccan, and I’m not offended because it’s fictional and funny, so there it is.. I guess I’m done now..

For you all..the first rule of Wicca is do no harm…and most of us live by what we put out comes back to us 3 fold…We do not use blood of any animal and for those of us who have walked the life for 20 plus years the religion is very rewarding and having an open mind would not hurt anyone on this list..the story was cute…the following arguments were at best narrow minded bigots who can not tell their ass from a hole in the ground.

I think you’re an idiot, Wiccans do not sacrifice any living creatures, we use herbs for our magick and the will of the God and Goddess to choose what it right, we believe in the rede “An Ye Harm None, Do As You will” the reason your craft isn’t working, is simply because the fact you didn’t follow the rede, and in Wicca, you can’t kill an innocent being such as a fetus because it is harming a living thing brought by YOUR ignorant choices….. There may be some herbs that could help IDK, but DON’T use the craft unless you KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING…

Well first off you seem like one of the annoying atheists that treat everyone that believes in something like an idiot, so congratulations your belief has led you to prejudice. On that note faith does not cause these things, idiots who need an excuse to hate cling to religion using it and twisting to their own needs to explain a hate they probably can’t explain themselves. As for war, well that’s fanatics, people who are probably a bit more then a little unstable and taking the excuse to hate one step further an excuse to kill. As for spending money on nothing, well everyone does that even without religion “causing” it as you say everyone does that. Anxiety in the young? I’m assuming you mean teenagers then yes? Everything causes them anxiety because everything seems equally large and imposing and utterly life changing at that age.

Congratulations for being a hypocritical (your lack of religion has obviously made you prejudiced against it) prejudiced atheist.Also some wonderfully flawed logic there, blaming the tool and not the hand that wields it.
