In the other room are the men who ruined my life.

In the other room are the men who ruined my life. I’ve got two .40 caliber automatics, one in each hand. I don’t have any spare ammunition. One clip in each gun and a round in the chamber. Deep breaths, in and out. I’m not ready to do this. I’m going to do this anyway. In a second I’m going to knock on the door. The eyeslot will open and a man will ask for the password: my little sister’s name. I’ll say it and he’ll unlock the bolts, never taking his eyes off of me. The split second the door is unlocked I fire a round through the eye slot into his head, at the same time I rear back with my right leg and kick the door with all my force. I need to both open the door and shove his body out of the way in one motion. Then I’m in the room.

The layout: a giant table in center with three guys counting money. Two guys on either side with automatic rifles keeping guard. Seven men total. The guys on the outside have to go first obviously. The room is 12 feet across, the table is 4. That means when I run in my arms have to be at approximately a 40 degree angle. I squeeze off two rounds and then bring my arms in to get the other guys. At that point the money counters will be cowering under the table and easy prey. I kill them and take the money. Tonight was a good night so there should be about 4 million. By this time other guards should be well on their way to coming to see what’s going on. On weekends there are 4 on duty downstairs, I’ll wait until I hear them and the blow the c4 that’s lining the hallway. After that I’ll take the money and leave through the fire escape. A car is parked a few blocks away. I will get in it and drive all night until I’m safe.

There’s the plan, I just have to execute. It’s time. I kick off of the wall and knock on the door. The eyeslot opens and a guy wants to know the password.

Time to execute.

  1. Wow, that one is great! It reminds me of the Dark Tower novels by Stephen King.
You really know how to paint a picture.
